Integrations

Vacation RentPro optionally integrates with 3rd party vacation rental advertising sites, Online Travel Agencies (OTA’s), Cleaning management software, Door Lock services and others. Some of these are 2-way integrations and others are 1-way. (Please check the Purchase page to see which VRP licenses include these interfaces).

… (and others)

Direct Integration with HomeAway / VRBO

  1. HomeAway / VRBO – Full Listing Updates and Online Bookings integration
VRP optionally provides a direct 2-way integration with HomeAway / VRBO. This allows VRP to take full advantage of all features offered by HomeAway’s API, including Guaranteed Pricing, Rate structures, Cancellation Policies, Amenities, Photos, Payment Schedules, etc. Since HomeAway is owned by Expedia, your listings can also be distributed to Expedia and it’s subsidiaries, such as Travelocity, Hotels.com, Trivago, etc. Note: The HomeAway interface requires a $149/year fee payable to VRP.

Integration with your Own Website

Integration with Channel Managers

VRP integrates with the following Channel Managers, who in turn, integrate with various OTA’s:

  1. BookingPal – Full Listing Updates and Online Bookings integration – BookingPal.com is a 3rd party Channel manager service which allows your listings to be published and integrated with many other sites, including: Airbnb, Booking.com, Google, Expedia, Priceline, Hotels.com, and many others.  BookingPal allows you to keep your own accounts and branding with the various channels. And they do not mark up the rates on your listings, (unless you choose to).

BookingPal costs = 1.25% of rental revenue (excluding taxes) for bookings created through their channels. (Note: The cost can be transferred to the guest using the Channel Rate-adjustment option).
  2. RedAwning – Full Listing Updates and Online Bookings integration – RedAwning.com is a 3rd party Channel manager service which allows your listings to be published and integrated with many other sites, including: Airbnb, Booking.com, Google, Expedia, Priceline, Hotels.com, and many others.  RedAwning is a “full service” channel manager, meaning that they provide credit card processing, damage insurance, and handle initial contacts and inquiries from the guest. You also do not need to create your own accounts on the various OTA sites.

RedAwning costs = RedAwning charges the guests for their fees, (not the host).

Some of the other Integrations

  1. ResortCleaning
VRP optionally integrates with ResortCleaning.com, which provides cleaners and hosts the tools to manage cleanings and cleaning schedules.
  2. TripAdvisor
VRP provides a direct 1-way interface of listing details , calendars and rates to TripAdvisor.com. However, TripAdvisor now requires a 50 property minimum. If you do not meet this minimum, you can use one of the Channel Managers above instead with TripAdvisor.
  3. FindRentals.com
VRP provides a direct 1-way interface of listing details, calendars and rates to FindRentals.com. FindRentals offers fixed price advertising (much like the old VRBO), and they link all listings back to your own website.
  4. EmeraldCoastByOwner.com
VRP provides a direct 1-way interface of listing details, calendars and rates to EmeraldCoastByOwner.com, which is a regional advertising site.
  5. eRentalLock
VRP provides a direct integration with eRentalLock.com, which uses common Schlage door locks with a unique feature that allows access codes for specific time periods without the need for wifi or bluetooth connections. This means your codes will always work regardless of internet access or power outages.

iCal Calendars Interface

  1. VRP can export iCal calendars to your own website (or our server if you do not have a website). iCals can then be shared to any other 3rd party sites (such as: Airbnb, VRBO, and others), which accept iCal calendars.
  2. VRP can also import iCal calendars from 1 or more 3rd party sites into VRP. This feature can be used in 2 ways:
    1. For automatically checking 3rd party calendars and comparing them to available dates within VRP.
    2. For automatically importing blocked dates from 3rd party calendars, and creating “External Bookings” to block those dates in VRP.
